Grade 5: Students tackle longer chapter books and apply in-depth reading strategies, identifying main ideas and key details, particularly in non-fiction texts. They develop correct spelling and punctuation, and explore informative, persuasive, and narrative writing. Students also research topics and present projects, building critical thinking and communication skills.
