CCSL Middle School (Grades 5-8)
Our Grades 5–8 Science and Technology program provides students with a rigorous, standards-aligned learning experience that emphasizes inquiry, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving. Students engage in hands-on investigations, digital simulations, and phenomenon-based learning to deepen their understanding of scientific concepts.
Grades 5–6 use the Amplify Science curriculum to explore complex scientific questions and engineering challenges, while Grades 6–8 transition to OpenSciEd, a high-quality, phenomenon-based program that promotes evidence-based reasoning and deep conceptual understanding.
Technology integration includes STEM lab experiences and an advanced Tynker curriculum, helping students build coding skills, computational thinking, and digital fluency. Together, these programs prepare students for future STEM learning and success in an increasingly digital world.
Our 5-8 programs are designed to inspire a lifelong passion for science and technology, equipping students with the skills they need to thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world.
