Meet The Principals

Maura has been in education for 21 years. The first 19 years of her experience was as an 8th grade English teacher with Shrewsbury Public Schools. For the past two years Maura has been the Assistant Principal at CCSL for grades 5 – 8. She has a strong background in curriculum development, coaching educators, and analyzing data to drive instruction. Part of Maura’s passion includes providing a space for students and staff that is safe, inclusive, and engaging. In addition, she values creating equitable learning spaces, so all students are seen, heard, and respected. Maura deeply values building strong relationships with each CCSL family. Maura is looking forward to working in partnership with you to support your children.
Amanda Gaudreau has dedicated her entire nine-year career in education to Collegiate. She began as a paraprofessional in the elementary wing while completing her studies in social work. Through her experiences in the classroom, she discovered a passion for education and made the decision to pursue a degree in teaching.
After changing majors to Education, Amanda served as a building substitute teacher for a year while completing her degree. She then spent three years teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies to 5th and 6th grade students. Since 2023, she has served as the Associate Principal for grades 5-8.
Amanda believes that every student is capable of achieving great things and understands that each student's path to success may look different. She is deeply committed to equity, inclusion, and belonging, and works to ensure that the middle school community is a welcoming, supportive, and accessible environment where all students can thrive.
